While in Southeast Texas over the weekend, we were in another fender-bender... yes, that's correct, in our new car.. no, I'm not kidding either.... We were at a gas station, PARKED, and someone hit our car on the front passenger side. Even though there were no injuries and it wasn't our fault (thank God), it is annoying to get this fixed in the middle of a busy week and get a rental, etc. Thankfully, we don't have to pay for it and our insurance premiums don't increase either.
Also, Travis ordered his new laptop yesterday. He is taking some online classes the first summer session so he can go on a mission trip to Wales, England at the end of June. He's excited about the trip and so am I, but the bad part is that he will be gone for his birthday and our first anniversary. :(...... It's okay, we'll have many more anniversaries and I am just thankful for a husband that wants to serve the Lord and share the Good News. Dani is going to stay with me while he's gone, so it'll be fun and we might hafta take a girl's trip too, since Joel is also going on the mission trip.
Well, after an emotional weekend, I am just reminded how thankful I am for my friends and especially my family. The funeral for Mrs. Glenda was beautiful, just like she would want it, and I am blessed by so many people. We will certainly miss her, but her legacy will live on through her family and friends. Keep them in your prayers though. Until tomorrow....
