I had a great night last night! It was Chick-fil-A and a Chick Flick night with my girlies... Those are two of my favorite things that I can always make time for! We met at CFA for supper and then went to my apt. to watch "Definitely, Maybe". It was a cute movie, but it had a few things that I wasn't crazy about... I won't share much else about it, I don't want to ruin the movie for those who want to watch the flick. I love hanging out with my friends and just talking and laughing and watching you tube videos and laughing some more... I am definitely blessed! All of these girls go to my church, Bannockburn Baptist, and I think this is a great time to say that Travis and I are both blessed to attend an awesome church here in Austin! We have made many great friends at BBC, in fact, Travis is in Wales with some guys from church right now. It was tough to move to Austin for college and embark on our first church search without our parents, but after many visits to many different churches, praying, crying, and praying some more, we finally found BBC (Thanks Jimmy!). I don't ever want to grow complacent with a particular church I attend, I want to actively serve where God needs me to serve. In fact, I have definitely been missing hanging out with youth, so when I finish my graduate classes this fall, I am going to start helping the youth again in the spring :).... I also want to join the choir and become more active in that area as well.
Okay, so back to CFA and Chick Flicks... What do you usually order at CFA? I usually flip-flop between the Chicken Sandwich Combo and the 8-piece nugget combo. It's always a good day for Travis when he orders the 12-piece nuggets and then value sizes his combo meal! Anyways, Tuesday nights at CFA are family nights, so that means that there are lots of kids there, weird entertainment and free kids meals with the purchase of a combo (which is a cheap supper for Travis and me!). Last night there was a guy there playing guitar and singing kids songs and he wore a shower cap, sunglasses and we especially enjoyed it when he wore his feelers for a bug song... haha... I think I'll keep the job I have now.
On to Chick Flicks... This is my favorite genre of films, closely followed by sports flicks. What are your favorite chick flicks?? It's tough to name favorites, but I think mine would be:
1 Father of the Bride
2 The Notebook
3 Father of the Bride 2
4 A Walk to Remember
5 The Holiday
6 My Best Friend's Wedding
7 Pretty Woman
8 Sweet Home Alabama
9 Legally Blonde
10 PS I love You
I know I'm leaving some out, but I am a little sleepy, so I ask for your forgiveness. I think that we need to make it a monthly date for CFA and CF night!! YAY!

I would say some of my favorites are:
While You Were Sleeping
Pride and Prejudice
Phantom of the Opera
You've Got Mail
Ever After
That's a good list there, but I would say you definitely have to add in "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days"...classic :)
