Quarter of a Century!

Well, Happy 211 Day to you! If you didn't know, today is like a holiday. You have my permission to smile more, laugh louder and hug someone today. :) Thanks to all of my friends and family who have texted/called/facebooked me. You have made my day start off well and I know it will be great from here!

Last night I had the biggest surprise- I was setting up at the church for our Rock 4 Haiti Benefit night and around the corner pops my mom, saying, "Hey Meag!". Whoa! I had to do a double-take and I was so shocked/confused/happy that I just started crying and hugging my mom! She came to surprise me for my birthday and I'm so happy that she is able to attend all of the festivities with me today! Travis was in on this surprise too, and it's difficult to surprise me, but they definitely pulled it off! Now I will ride with my mom tomorrow to Lufkin for my shower this weekend and Travis will come later after he gets off of work.

This morning, we got to go to the doctor (there was no ice/sleet- Thank You Jesus!) and we got to see an active little Hudson! He was so active that he didn't want a good picture of him taken, so we just have little pieces, like his arm, foot, etc. The visit went great. Dr. Pevoto measured the amniotic fluid around him and it is normal, which is great! He's also growing, but will still be on the small end, weight-wise. Still predicting him to weigh about 6 1/2 pounds at birth, which is fine with me! He weighed 3 lbs. 9 oz. today. I will go back in 2 weeks and at 36 weeks, I'll start going every week. What a wonderful way to start off my day! :)

I'll leave you with a few pictures. The first is of me after I saw my mom. I am crying and in shock. We didn't get a picture of us together, Travis missed that part but he was there to take a picture of my reaction. It's not the prettiest picture, but it captures the moment! :)

The other pictures are from the maternity session that Jenni took of me a few weeks ago. She did a great job! Thanks so much, Jenni! You rock! By the way, Jenni's birthday is Saturday- Happy Birthday Friend! You are such a great support for me. I love you, you always make me laugh! :)
