My mom and I have been diet pros. I am a veteran of Weight Watchers, and I like it but I cannot afford it right now. So, I'm using my handy FREE iPhone app (Lose It) that helps me set goals and record my caloric intake and loss. My goal is to lose 40 pounds and after my first week on this new program, I am down 7.6 pounds! I realize it's only the first week, but I'm optimistic about meeting my goals. I am getting back in my running shape and getting prepared for a half-marathon in San Antonio in November. I'm also finishing up the 30-day Shred by Jillian Michaels and doing some weight training to tone my body.
My Lose It app says I should meet my goal by November 3. I'm hopeful I can shatter that prediction! Please keep me motivated and encouraged on this journey!
Here are my weight loss rewards along the way:
10 pounds: pedicure
20 pounds: new CD/iTunes music
30 pounds: new jeans
40 pounds: massage
I'll update on my journey each Monday. I need to take some before and after pictures.....

you can totally do this! it's hard getting your body back after a baby so give yourself some time.
I think the reward system is great! Definitely helps you have another good reason to keep up with your goals!
