Hudson is six months old! I can't believe he is halfway to a year! This little boy is such a blessing to our family. He is loved by all, including church nursery workers, neighbors, mommy's co-workers, mommy's students, daddy's youth, EVERYONE LOVES HUDSON!!
Here's what Hudson is up to at 6 months:
- He is working on sitting up by himself. He can sit up for a while with the boppy pillow.
- He is eating oatmeal in the morning, three 8-oz bottles during the day and a fruit and veggie at night.
- He loves to watch TV, especially Sesame Street or Football. I think the action gets him everytime!
- He went to his first high school football game this month and loved it for the most part. He did get tired soon after it started, so we left after half time.
- He is such a good baby in the church nursery. Everyone always tells me that the workers fight over who gets to hold him. :)
- He is also known as the "slow eater" in the nursery. No surprise here. The kid gets very distracted while eating. NO TV or other entertainment while eating! :)
- He loves to go for strolls in the neighborhood. He just loves being outside. If he's upset, just bring him outside and it quickly calms him down.
- No separation anxiety yet, but he definitely knows mommy and daddy.
- Babbling all the time now, but no real-sounding words.
- Moving his hands like a backwards wave.
- He will grab things from your hands and put in his mouth or his hands.
- He LOVES to pull on hair, jewelry and necklaces.
Lord,
Thank you so much for this special blessing. We pray that we would continue to be parents that raise this little boy in a godly home with Christian principles. We pray that his health would be preserved and that he would continue to show the joy that you have placed in this little boy.
Thank you, Jesus.
