Happy 7 Months, Hudson!!

Hudson is 7 months old! Yay for Hudson!

Here are some things this blue-eyed wonder is up to lately:

- Sleeping GREAT again! Goes to sleep on his own after about 5 minutes in his crib alone at night. It's wonderful. He's sleeping on his back, side and tummy now too without a pacifier.

- He is still a slow eater (he is easily distracted) but he is eating his 24 ounces or more of daily formula plus a great amount of oatmeal in the morning and a fruit and veggie at night. He tried the puffs snacks the other day but I think we need to wait a few more weeks for that. We are also starting to give him a few more tiny samples of easy-to-swallow table food. He LOVES that! He is so enamored by our food!

- He is such an entertainer and talker. He LOVES to be social with people, especially his friends (which right now are mommy and daddy's friends) and family

- Babbling like crazy, but no hard sounds yet

- Goes into crawling position but not yet scooting or mobile.

- Laughs and shrills all the time, it's awesome.

- Loves to watch TV and wants to play on our iPhones.

- Still sometimes does a backwards wave but is getting great at grabbing things with his hands. He can even grab things with his thumb and index finger.

- Not too into books just yet. Likes to look at pictures and listen but not making connection that the words we are saying are associated with the book. I think he will gradually like books more and more.

- Trying new baby foods like macaroni and cheese and other fruits this month. Not a big fan of the meats unless they are mixed with a fruit, haha.

- Still developing a strong friendship with both puppies. Even Snuggles loves Hudson and protects him now.

- Sleeps with his stuffed sheep every night :)

More updates from Hudson's Baby Dedication on Sunday soon.... Now I need to go put a little sleepy boy in bed. :)
