Happy 9 Months, Hudson!!

Hudson is nine months old! Another milestone, another time to reflect on this little blessing of a boy. Here's what Hudson is doing at nine months:

Sleeping 11 hours a night (except when there are teething episodes)
Drinking 24 ounces of formula
Eating a good helping of oatmeal or cereal with fruit for breakfast
Eating a veggie and meat at night
Crawling everywhere and quickly now!
Pulling up on everything and cruising
"Singing" some favorite songs
Waving and saying "Hi" or "Bye"
Says "Da-Da" "Ma-Ma" "Ba-Ba" "Na-Na" etc.
Does not scream and cry when we put him to bed now, just coos and looks at his new puppy that plays music, Scout
Has a great pincher grasp, and loves to eat puffs and little bites of table food
Very active! Does not want to be held very much anymore :(
Loves the walker
Happy 95% of the time!
Still social with strangers
Loves to play "Pat-A-Cake"
Has the social/motor skills of a 12-month-old (Social from ME, motor from Travis haha)
Still learning to like books, mostly just wants to eat them!
Smiles when you take out your camera to take his picture!
Not very fond of the carseat anymore, because it restrains him.

As far as stats:
26 inches long
Almost 16 pounds*

*Hudson has been in the bottom 10 percentile since he was about a month old. However, at this visit, he fell off the charts. Not good for mommy to hear. It's very tough to feed him enough, he just gets full quickly and is a little guy. Travis was the same way as a baby and toddler, so we are not alarmed, but he does need to gain weight. It's stressful for me because I feel like I am always trying to get him to eat. We are having to add powder formula to all of his food now to add calories and get him to gain weight. Please pray for us! We have to go get his weight checked in 6 weeks and have our scheduled visit at 12 months.

I know the eating thing is stressful. Jake had the same problem. He fell off the charts around 9 or 12 months too. He's just little, that's all. We also tried putting heavy cream into his table food when we could to add a few calories. Hang in there!

Why is this little man so cute?!?! I just want to gobble him up, especially in that preppy sweater he's wearing.
