I cannot believe my baby is one year old today! It has been the most amazing year and we are so blessed by this baby boy! Thank you, God for this blessing! He is truly a gift from God. We had to take him to the doctor this morning for his 12 month well check and I was reading about the one year milestones. I read that now he is officially a toddler and no longer a baby. :( Sad. But, I am excited for all of the new things he will show us this year! It's so amazing to be a parent! Even though he is still under the average weight, he is a healthy and smart little boy and we are thankful! Here is a little taste of our special day today:
He woke up at 7:30:
We fixed him HLH pancakes. My mom did this for me every birthday (my initials) and it is something I want to start for my kids. :)
He had his doctor appointment at 9:00
We shared a PB&J sandwich for lunch (his first one!)
He also got to drink real whole milk too!
Bottles are stored away and now it's 100% drinking from a cup.
He took two naps.
Company arrived (Travis' parents and sister. Then my mom's sisters, my cousin and both grandmothers)

What a wonderful day. The birthday boy is fast asleep now. I'll post more on his stats and 12-month happenings later. Gotta get ready for a puppy dog party tomorrow! :)
