Hudson's First Easter

Yes, Hudson is over one year old.

Yes, this is still his first easter.

Easter came 4 days before he was born last year, and since it was so late this year, he was 12 1/2 months old before he experienced his first easter. He was old enough to participate more than most babies. We had the "Baby's First Easter" bib from last year (just in case he came on time), we had Travis' easter basket that he always used as a kid. We had eggs to dye and candy to eat. We had egg hunts to attend and a sweet easter church outfit. Let's get our Easter on...

Decorating Easter eggs with Daddy Saturday night. He was more interested in throwing the crayons on the ground, haha....

Easter morning. We got up REALLY EARLY for church, so we had to wake Hudson up at 6:15 and he was really sleepy. Love how he's sucking his thumb here and not really sure what's going on....

Hudson's first visit from the Easter Bunny!

As I mentioned, we were up at 6:00, dressed and out the door by 6:45. We had a sunrise baptism service at church and it was so awesome.... 52 people were baptized!!

Hudson watched most of it from Pop's shoulders and he would clap and cheer when someone would get baptized!

So blessed to have these two boys in my life. Thank you God for sending your Son to pay the ultimate sacrifice for us so that we could have life eternally with You. HE IS RISEN!!
