Happy 15 Months Hudson!

Already a year and another quarter? These past three months have flown by! This little boy is getting more and more active and lively by the minute! I love this stage where he is just a sponge and soaking in everything we do or say. He is constantly imitating us, like:

- wearing our flip-flops on his feet
- carrying on "conversations" on my iPhone with a mystery person, including a random laugh here and there (I guess he gets that from me or my mom)
- getting our keys and trying to reach the door knob to unlock a door
- brushing his teeth
- gets a Q-tip and attempts to clean out his ear
- sings in the Rock Band microphone
- reads stories aloud to us from his book
- types on the computer like we do

It seems like he is doing something new every day! As for his normal monthly updates, Hudson went to the doctor for his 15-month check-up and:
- he weighs 18-12. Still a little guy, but he is progressing in growth each time, so our doctor is not worried. I am finding creative ways to sneak in extra calories, and he does drink a pediasure every other day to substitute for one cup of milk.

- he is 29 1/2 inches long now, and he is now growing at a faster rate than previous visits.

- I don't remember his head circumference, but it was somewhere in the 10th percentile.

Hudson is sleeping fairly well. Occasionally when he is cutting a tooth, he will wake up during the night crying.

The boy still eats bananas like they are going out of style!!

He has added a few words to his vocabulary, like:
Pop- he loves saying this fun word!
Papaw
"Ninna" for Grinna
shakes his head while saying "No"
Cat
Fish- His Gran-D taught him this word. It sounds more like "ish"

This month, Hudosn will be staying another week with Travis' parents in Lumberton as we head off to youth camp for the last week in July. They are excited about this too!

I can't believe that I have less than a month left with my baby before school starts back. Part of me is excited about the new year and the changes I want to make from last year, but the major part of me is sad to leave my Hudson time, flexible schedule and less stress behind soon.
