When God Shows Up....

You know when you have those really cool "God" moments? It makes you tear up, get giddy, have goosebumps and be so grateful all at once.  Well, as I was casually skimming through my monthly issue of the Texas Exes Alcalde magazine, I happened to read a great story on Mack Brown.  But, that wasn't the God moment.  It actually came at the end of the magazine, where I just happened to read a section that I always skip, simply because it is sad.  It's the "In Memory of Fallen Horns" section.  I'm not quite sure why I kept reading this time, but I'm glad I did.  See, I'm not sure if I told y'all, but my cousin, Patrick Scott (22 years old, UT student) died in a car accident in May.  It was a hard pill to swallow.  Please keep praying for his mom and dad (my aunt and uncle) and all of his friends and family, by the way.  Anyways, it's been a hard summer for the Killam family, but I just heard a peace from God as I found this on the LAST paragraph of the LAST page of the magazine.

You may not think it's that big of a deal, but to me it was.  I know there are way cooler miraculous stories that you may have heard about miracles from God, but this was one special time that I had recently.  I immediately shared it with my uncle and he was in tears at a high school football game.  We have no idea who submitted this to the Alcalde, but thanks God for reminding that you are still faithful and you will continue to offer healing and love.
