Brazos: 5 Months

Brazos is almost half a year old! Can you believe it?!? I cannot! I know our lives have been a little crazy and we are living with most of our belongings in storage for the past 4 months...... Poor Brazos does not even have a real nursery, but he's making it happen in the my parents' guest room. 

At 5 months, Brazos is:

-weighing about 17 pounds!
-about 24-25 inches long
-wearing 6-9 month clothing
-drinking four 8-ounce bottles a day and trying some solids. So far, he likes green beans and squash. He was not a fan of cereal or rice, but I don't blame him.
-napping three times a day with his longest nap in the early afternoon.
-trying hard to sit up by himself, it will be a few more weeks I think before he sits up alone.
-sleeping from 8-7!
-talking up a storm with his noises and coos! It seems he is going to be even more vocal than his brother!
-enjoying all of the festivities surrounding the holiday season and looking forward to his first Christmas.

Brazos- you continue to make us so happy and joyful.  You are starting to reach for me when I get home and get upset when someone does not pay attention to you.  You adore your brother and are curious about the dogs too.  We cannot wait to see how God uses you to be His hands and feet!
