Hudson: Three Years

This little guy is already three years old! How did that happen? Travis and I were talking about how his first year went by fairly slow, but since then, years 2 and 3 have flown like one big blur!  I haven't had a Hudson post in a while, so let me catch you up on what this little three-year-old is up to now:

 

- Hudson loves to be outside.

- Hudson loves to sing, dance, clap and have lots of active fun!

- Hudson is pretty coordinated, athletic and fearless. That makes this mommy nervous a lot!

- Hudson is still a fickle eater, but we do manage to get some food into his tummy during the day!

- Hudson's favorite foods are mac-n-cheese, ice cream and milk!

- Hudson is potty training and does pretty good with it except for #2 and sometimes, he gets too busy to stop and use the potty.

- Hudson loves to do things on his own now instead of allowing us to do it for him. Examples: washing dishes, vacuuming, turning on/off lights, letting the dogs out, feeding the dogs, calling our relatives and friends on the phone, opening doors and this list go on and on.... :)

- Hudson still attends Mother's Day Out twice a week, but he also started the Speech Stars program at Elm Grove Elementary School. He goes there twice a week for two hours each time.  He loves going to school, seeing his friends and having fun.

-Hudson loves to talk about his friends, family, dogs and his daily events.  He is quite the storyteller!

- Hudson can be a little cranky after naps or in the morning, but he usually brightens up and is a happy boy!

- Hudson's teachers tell me that he is very encouraging, loving and helpful, which makes me so proud.

- Hudson loves to play with the "big kids" (youth kids) at church each Sunday and Wednesday!

- Hudson enjoys playing with his little brother, especially since Brazos is much more mobile now!

 

We love this little boy to pieces! Thank you God for this special blessing. This little boy is your child that you have given to us and I pray that we are able to teach him Your ways!
