Brazos: 11 Months

Wow! Eleven months for this sweet boy!  I know I probably say that every month, but it really is a joy to be his mommy.  He is definitely becoming a momma's boy, and I won't lie, I like it!  :) Hudson was never just a momma's boy. He definitely has a soft spot for his daddy too. After all, daddy is way more fun than momma!  But, Brazos just lights up when I come in the room and he has had a little separation anxiety lately.  I love him.

At 11 Months, Brazos is:
-still sleeping from 8-7 or sometimes even 8-8. He takes a morning nap and a pretty long afternoon nap.
-drinking 24-30 ounces of milk per day.  He is doing great with transitioning to the sippy cup!
-exploring and pulling up everywhere! He hasn't started standing on his own yet, but I can tell it will probably happen soon!
-LOVES to sing and clap.
-not too fond of his carseat. Road trips are "fun" right now.  He's not interested in movies quite yet, so we just pray for a nap on an extended car ride.
-always able to eat a snack. This boy never passes up on a good meal!
-really wanting to climb the stairs.  That makes this momma nervous!
-wanting to be just like Hudson.
-such a great snuggler when he's tired.
-wearing 12 months and 12-18 months clothes. He wears about a size 5 shoe!
-such a studier! It's hard to get him to smile for a photo, because once you take out a camera he really starts to study the camera. He definitely gets that from his daddy.
-a master on the walker! You better watch out or you may get your toes smashed! :)
-talking and babbling. No new words from last month except Gran-D and Paw-Paw. I think I heard KK too, but that's probably because he got to spend a week with them while we were at youth camp.

Jesus, thank you so much for this special blessing. Please use us to grow him into a man of God and seek you with his whole heart!
