We recently took our first trip together since our kids were born. The week before Christmas, we took a week-long cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. It was AMAZING!
We flew to Fort Lauderdale and ported out of Miami. We really didn't know what to do on a trip by ourselves without strollers, carseats, diaper bags, etc. It was GRAND!
This is the Miami skyline as we left the city on the ship. We took an interesting and hot 2 mile walk with all of our luggage from downtown to the port. Good times.
Our first stop was Nassau, Bahamas. Look at that crystal clear water!
Here's a snapshot from our first formal night at dinner. We took a lot of selfies because we didn't have anyone else at our table to take a photo of us. Well, we did have table mates at first, but not after the first dinner. That's another story... :)
Our second stop was in St. Thomas. This is while relaxing on beautiful Magen's Bay beach. It's voted one of the top ten beaches in the world. BEAUTIFUL!
Our third stop was San Juan, Puerto Rico. I thought this might be my least favorite stop, but I actually really liked the city! I think we will be taking our next cruise from San Juan, actually. This is the historic fortress for the city of San Juan.
Look at this unmatching stud at the fortress! :)
Our last stop was at Grand Turk Island in Turks and Caicos.
And, here are the nice selfies that we took before our second formal night...... Don't worry, I am dressed, just wearing a strapless dress.... :)
