Brazos: 2 Years!

Our sweet Brazos is now two years old!  How did this happen? The second year definitely flies by faster than the first, I think.  This was quite an exciting month for the Braz-Man!

At Two Years Old, Brazos is:

- weighing about 28 pounds and is about 33 inches tall.  

-sleeps from 8pm-7am :) and still takes one afternoon nap

-saying more words, though they aren't always clear

-understanding instructions and follows them 

-a little moody at times and can throw a tantrum, haha

-loving to be held or be around other people. He's not too jazzed about being alone

-eating pretty well.  He definitely likes french fries and chocolate milk, though not together, lol

-not afraid of his "big" brother, even though he's younger

-such a great helper and loves to help!

-loves Mickey Mouse and Disney characters, although not in person!

This month, Brazos has:

-gone on his first plane ride.  He did great on the way to LA, but got a little antsy on the way back to Austin.

-traveled on his first cruise and did pretty well.  Dinner was sometimes a struggle, but when he has an electronic device, that helps him stay quiet and busy.

-saw the ocean for the first time

-met Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Minnie Mouse and other Disney Characters. He did not want to touch them or be near them, but got really excited when he saw them and loved to tell them "bye!"

-had his second birthday party: a Mickey Mouse birthday party at the Whispering Hollow Park. He loved it! We invited friends and family to come and play while it was still cool in the morning.  

Brazos, these past two years have been such a delight with you here.  Although you weren't the most photogenic little boy, you love to show us your contagious smile all the time!  You are ticklish, sensitive to others, love to give hugs and kisses, and play outside on your new trampoline.  You love to sing and play on the iPad/iPhone. You are such a sweet boy and you love to be near people.  Thank you, God, for blessing us with this sweet boy.  We are so grateful to be a part of what God is doing in your life as he makes you into the man He wants you to be!
