Well, the last two weeks of my maternity leave were quite busy! We listed our house on the market back in June just to see if there would be any bites on it. We needed more space and the rates are so great right now, we figured it couldn't hurt. Well, in early September, we got a bite and entered into contract. We closed on October 15, but we decided to move out before I went back to work, so that transition would be easier. It is a lot of work to move for anyone, but when you have two little ones, it's tricky!
With the help of our awesome family and many trips back and forth to storage, we did it without professional movers or cleaners, hooray! We had to say goodbye to our first house, where we brought our babies home from the hospital, where Hudson learned to walk, talk (everything) and where we shared so many great memories! God richly blessed us with this home and I am so thankful for the time we shared there. We are ready for our next chapter and where God wants us to serve and invite others.
For now, we are living with my parents in their new home (they moved two weeks before we moved in with them!) in Buda. We are supposed to start construction on our new home behind their house in early November. To God be the Glory.
Goodbye Rancho Alto and Herb Brooks Drive! You will always hold a special place in our hearts!
