This year was our year to go to Southeast Texas and spend Thanksgiving with Travis' family. We were looking forward to this trip, especially since we have not been able to see his family as much as we'd like and we miss them! Well, my sister-in-law, Kaitlin, started teaching a few weeks before Thanksgiving, and her lovely students gave her a Thanksgiving gift- the FLU! Sadly, we could not have Thanksgiving with them because we could not run the risk of infecting Brazos since he could not have the flu shot this year. We really missed out on the family time, but we did get to stay here, which is something that has NEVER happened since I moved to Austin in 2003! Brazos had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and we are just so thankful for ALL of the blessings God has granted our family, and this little guy is a big blessing!
