Travis and I made our way home on Friday and after surprising my mom and eating her great supper, I decided to see if my hair was long enough to donate to a company that is like "Locks of Love".
Well, my ponytail had to be 8" long and it was 10" long!! So, on a whim, we decided to cut off the ponytail (my mom did it), and we made an appt. to get it styled the next day.
So, after another cut, style and highlights, I have a new 'do! Quite exciting! I did not plan on this before going home, so when I came back to Austin, everyone at work and school was very surprised! I will post pics of the process a little later. We had a great weekend with both families and were super excited that our little car got 38 mpg on the trip!! Yay!! So much better than the gas-guzzling SUVs that we have/had.
Now back to another week of fun with work and school and everything else. As soon as I got back to Austin, I had to head to the library for a group meeting, yay, and then I have a presentation tonight.... Let's see, this will make project/presentation #9million for the semester (or so it seems). Well, I must go... I guess I will write more tomorrow on April Fool's day, my least favorite day of the year... I'm not so much for the Fooling and pranking... until then, be encouraged by God's many blessings...
