Well, this is a new frontier for me... I've always wanted to start a blog, but today a classic friend showed me the ropes and now my blog-life begins. Where do I start? Lately I've been in a weird place in my life... 2008 started off great, I got a new iPod nano and the Nike+ shoes for Christmas, so that encouraged me to start running again, and my goal was 40 miles in January. Well, I met my goal, but just barely.... At the end of January, I started feeling some tingling and numbness in my arms, so I was concerned and went to the doctor. The diagnosis was a pinched nerve in my neck. Well, I eventually started feeling neck pain and I was told to lay off the running for a while until my body could heal. Well if you know me, you know that working out takes away stress and allows me a little more room to eat the good stuff without gaining unwanted weight... so I became paranoid about my weird symptoms, a little depressed that I couldn't be active and my anxiety levels were through the roof, constantly worrying about everything in my life!! I also came to realize that my relationship with my Abba was not where it should be, so my first priority was to get that back on track and get my Joy back! I'm on the right path now, sometimes trudging along, sometimes sprinting, but on the right track. I'm gradually starting to get active again and yesterday I ran over a mile and did some lunges, which makes me feel better.... I know, I'm weird! So, this is my life until now.... Sorry to unload, but I didn't know how to start, so this is my best shot. Time to get ready for class.... (did I mention that I work full time, I have the best job, which I am passionate about, and I am a full-time graduate student who has been married to my best friend for 8 months! :))....
