Weekend Wonder and Small Business Owners!

What a relaxing weekend! The weather in the Capital City was just gorgeous on Saturday and Sunday, and that makes me happy! :) On Saturday, Travis and I went and had the free breakfast at our apt. complex office, then went to run errands.... After we returned, we pretty much just sat around and watched TV... Until you think that I was not productive at all, Travis helped me finish a TV advertisement for one of my class presentations... Saturday night, we went to a diaper/formula party for a couple in our Sunday School class and it was a great time! :) So many people are getting pregnant, it seems to be a big trend right now... People keep asking me when we will have kids, of course, but I then explain to them the "Meagan Timeline" which includes Travis graduating, Travis finding a job, Meagan and Travis buying a house, Meagan and Travis getting a puppy and then Meagan finishing graduate school and a few years later, then bring on the kids! :) I guess all of this baby madness does make me want kids more, though... I've never not wanted kids, I definitely want my own, but I am just not in a big hurry to have them right now. After the party, we celebrated Joel's birthday with some popcorn, pizza and a few episodes of Scrubs at Dani's apt.

After church Sunday, we grilled on the balcony and ate our nice lunch outside... It was nice!! We also lounged around pretty much the rest of the day and worked on cleaning projects, paying bills, all of that fun stuff! It was definitely nice not to have to go to any group meetings or work on any papers! Not that I don't have any work to do, I just prefer putting it off until the day before its due to add some excitement into the mix, haha.

Well, onward into a new week, a busy week of meetings and evaluations and presentations and the like... I'm feeling good about life and feeling soo blessed by what God has provided for us...

By the way, we are business owners!! That's right, Travis went to the County Clerk's office today, got his business license for his new creative technology business called Creative Tech & Design. He is going to help with webmastering, graphic design, video editing and other creative technologies... He got his first check, so we had to open a new business bank account too!! Right now, it only has a few basic things and a school project video that I had to make, but especially after he graduates, he hopes to have a nice little business on the side with this. Okay, well I must go to... you guessed it... another group meeting before class. I will be super happy when this semester is in the books! :) Keep praying that Travis and I will finish the "race" this semester with determination, dedication and, of course, good grades! :)
