Well, in about 15 minutes, I will finish my fourth 10-hour day this week, so that means that I am off tomorrow (FREE)! I will also be off on Monday, so I am pumped about my 4-day weekend. It is even more exciting this time because my parents are on their way to Austin right now to spend the weekend with us. We are going out to Hula Hut tonight (which is my fave restaurant). Tomorrow, we are all going to the park in the morning, and my dad and I will run around Town Lake or Lady Bird Lake, or whatever it's called these days, while my mom and Travis hang out and play with Snuggles. We are also planning a trip to the outlet mall in San Marcos, where my mom and I have had great success finding super bargains in the past!! I want to take my parents to Whole Foods sometime this weekend and relax with them at the pool maybe. I am looking forward to just spending time with them, and I think they are a little more excited to see Snuggles again than they are to see Travis or me, haha!
Update on my mom- she's doing fabulous, I'm so proud of her!! She has already lost 55 lbs. and she looks and feels great! She's lost 15 more pounds since I saw her last, so every time we see one another I am always amazed at how well she is doing and how great she looks!!
Update on The Quest- They officially announced the winner of The Quest last night. There is an article about the finalists and the winner, John Wright, in the Wall Street Journal and on a Reuters wire. Google it. If you go to www.doritosthequest.com, you can view a trailer about the upcoming release of the webisodes of the game show. It's pretty intense and you will definitely see one familiar face (Travis). :) I feel like I am so honored to be married to a famous game show contestant, haha! :) Have a great weekend, friends!!
