Last night, I went to the Ladies Night Out event at church. It was hosted by our church's women's ministry and it was awesome!! First of all, it was held in the medium-sized fellowship room in our new education building, and I think that they would have hosted it in the gym if they had anticipated how many women would actually come, because it was PACKED!! We were literally like sardines packed in a room, squeezing chairs in every nook and cranny of that room!! In fact, Dani, Jenni and I had to share two seats together, so we were definitely sharing the love to one another!
The event included some white chocolate and milk chocolate fountains with tasty dipping treats, which was so delicious!! There were also some door prizes that were given, but the main event was a Christian comedienne, Anita Renfro, who was hilarious! I had several belly laughs and there were people who were laughing so hard that they cried, which was awesome!! She was great and I would recommend any woman watching her DVDs and enjoying some "lady" time. (not really sure what "lady" time is, come to think of it!) I enjoyed laughing together with other Christian women and sharing some jokes with some of my closest friends. It was a great night, and I will be hitting up part 2 of my girl-time tonight at our monthly Chick-fil-A and a Chick Flick. Can't wait.... :)
