Well, apparently Travis was able to get online after he talked to me last night... He must have read my blog and found some discrepancies in my story, so he posted the actual facts on his blog. Hey, I am just doing my best re-telling the story.... It is always late when Travis calls me and there are so many details and clues and stuff I don't understand that I do my best to re-tell them in the correct order... Apparently I have not been as accurate as Travis would like....
Therefore, please check out Travis' blog at travishogg.blogspot.com for the "correct" story.... I even learned some things for reading it! Travis told me that he thinks that today (Thursday) is the final day of competition, so be praying hard!! Pray for Travis' and the other contestants' safety and pray that Travis is able to figure out the riddle!! This is the home stretch and I am so nervous and on-edge!!! O my!!!!
Well, if you've read Travis' blog, you know the results: Travis did not win. However, there's no reason to be bummed, we are very thankful that he got this amazing opportunity to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime experience! Thank you Lord! This is also another reminder that God has other ways in store for us that will provide for us!
Thanks to everyone for their prayers, interest and great encouragement for me and Travis! Y'all are awesome! I will keep posting in my blog, as usual, so you can feel free to stop by anytime. I can't guarantee that it will be as exciting as it has been this week, but you know, life is pretty unpredictable.
I am excited because my husband returns tonight! He doesn't arrive back at our apt. until about midnight, because he has a layover in Denver on his way back. Pray for safe travel! Also, Travis applied for a full-time job at the UIL, so pray for that as well. It will definitely be nice to spend more than three days with Travi, since that's about all I've seen of him in the past three-four weeks!
