On Saturday, we had a Housewarming Party so people could come over to see the house and fellowship. We had a great turnout! Justin and Jessica came in from Carrollton with their new corgi-dachshund, Josey. Snuggles and Josey had to get used to one another at first, but I think they had fun playing together. My parents, grandparents (Killam), and Travis' parents also joined us on Saturday, and we had a great time with them this weekend. I was especially glad to see my granddaddy feeling better and moving around better, since he was in the hospital only two weeks ago! Please continue to pray for his health with his Parkinson's disease. My parents went overboard with buying us decorations for the house, food for the party and their help with preparing for the party. Travis' parents gave us a new dog house for Timber, and it came just in time for the cold weather, and he loves his new house! :) I will post pics soon of Timber, as he is a growing boy and really defining his Siberian Husky features! He weighs 32 pounds now and has a significant amount of black on his back now, along with the typical Husky markings on his face, so pretty! We also had people from our church growth group stop by and other neighbors as well. Thanks to everyone who helped to make it a special time for us and thanks for all of the presents that we did not expect, y'all are the best!! I will include some pics from the party below.

Sunday after church, Jenni, Kristin and I traveled around to our neighbors' houses and collected canned goods for the "Canning Hunger" campaign at church. We had an overwhelming success and I was glad that I was able to meet a few of the neighbors around and partake in the giving of the holiday season, especially with my two favorite neighbors! :)
I'm gearing up for this busy week, as I am preparing for two big presentations in my classes next Monday and working all three days and nights this weekend at the State Volleyball Tournament. I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week! How exciting!! :) I'm already in the holiday spirit, and contrary to what Travis says, I am super excited about the Christmas decorations in the stores and the Christmas music playing in stores. I think it's motivating me to start putting up my Christmas decorations in my house this week!

Well, have a blessed week, good friends! Love to you all!
