Celebrating 211!! :)

Well, if you've known me for long, then you'll probably be able to recite my birthday. I made sure that I ingrained my birthday in my friends' heads while growing up and I am definitely seeing the fruits of my labor now. Everybody remembers my birthday, and nobody forgets the 211! See, I'm a little weird (shocking, huh?) and I was a little obsessed with 211... I have always pointed out when it's 2:11 p.m. or when my total is $2.11 or when I stay in room 211 or when my friend Stephanie lives in apt #211 or when there is 2 minutes and 11 seconds left on the clock in a basketball game, etc. Heck, we even started our wedding ceremony at 2:11 p.m. and we have the invitations and programs to prove it! :) It may be a little extreme, but like I said, nobody forgets my birthday. I was so blessed to receive birthday messages from my friends around the world and here are some examples:

- Britani Hinton in South Korea
- Elizabeth Leffage in Spain
- Michelle "Tuggle" Roberts in Thailand
- Dana Adams in NYC
- Lots of family in Lumberton/Silsbee
- My uncles and grandparents in Lufkin, TX
- Lots of friends in Austin, TX
- Jenna in California
- Stephanie in Colorado
- Justin and Jessica in Carrollton, TX
- Katie in Dallas
- Brittany "Shearer" Swanson in Lewisville, TX
- Stacy and Matt in Houston
- MUCH MORE! :)

Thank you so much for all of the birthday wishes! I am so blessed!

I was able to celebrate my birthday at Texas Roadhouse with my friends here in Austin on Tuesday night. Even though the seating was not that good and we were split up into smaller groups, the food was delicious and I cannot get enough of the sweet tea and rolls! :) Yummy!

On my actual birthday, I was able to sleep in a little later (wakened by Timber licking my face :) ) and I went to lunch with Brooke and Mary (from work) at Chick-fil-A, yummy!! :) After work, I was able to celebrate with my small group girls and we talked about prayer and how our lifestyle should reflect our prayer life... My day ended with eating some popcorn and watching my new blu-ray movie that my wonderful hubby got for me, Nights in Rodanthe, last night before heading to bed at 10:15! :) What a wonderful way to celebrate the big 2-4!!
