The doctor says I was 11 weeks on Saturday, but I actually think that I was 12 weeks on Saturday. My reasoning? Well, without going into gory details, I will just say that I know when my last cycle was, and by that date, my due date should be March 28, 2010 instead of April 3 or 4, 2010. If my calculations are correct, then I will enter my second trimester on Saturday! Woohoo! I'm not sure which date to actually tell people. What do you think?
Technically, if I'm correct, then I only have 193 days until my due date! :) I still haven't really started to "show" yet, but I know that day will come soon. Many of my friends say that it just came practically overnight, and then they had to buy new clothes, etc. As of now, I'm still wearing my trusty pre-pregnancy jeans and shirts. I've never been one for clingy shirts, so my normal shirts still fit just fine.
My parents are coming back in town this weekend for the Texas Tech game. I think my mom is going to help me clean out closets, while my dad is helping me study for my Socials Studies subject teaching test and he's also supposed to help Travis adjust our fence in the back yard so that the dogs have more room to roam. Should be a busy weekend, with these tasks, the game and a great family dinner with my brother and his girlfriend. I always look forward to having them visit, and of course, we love Longhorn Football!
Here are the stats for week 11. Based on your comments, I'll decide if I want to upgrade to week 13 next week :) Let me know what you think!!
How the baby's growing at 11 weeks:
Your baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig, and is now almost fully formed. Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under her gums, and some of her bones are beginning to harden. She's already busy kicking and stretching, and her tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as her body grows and becomes more developed and functional. You won't feel your baby's acrobatics for another month or two — nor will you notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming.

I will tell you that I was forsure my due date was August 28th or so even though the doctor said Sept 3. But Savannah had her own plan and she arrived on the 10th of September! If it is a girl I have tons of things...can't wait to find out? Also, we are giving Tuck a wedding shower this weekend at my house if you and your mom would be interested in coming!
I think the ultrasounds are a pretty good indication of where you're at... Especially at the beginning, the measurements should be a pretty accurate of when your due date is.
I knew when I had ovulated but Ellie still came 5 days after her due date... so it's really hard to know exactly when :) I started just telling people "early September".
I say you should go with the one the doctor is saying because when you get to the last few days and are ready to have the baby, i'm pretty sure you would rather have it come sooner than later. Therefore if you are expecting the baby march 28 and it doesn't come until april 1 then you will be dying with anticipation those few days after the due date. But if you predict later but it comes earlier then it will just be exciting. Does that make any sense??
I'd go with the ultrasound measurements. :) We were lucky- my ultrasound measurements were just a day behind what I had calculated anyway. But- we shall see when Lucy decides to appear!!
