21 weeks on last 2009 home football game

Well, we are just cruisin' along now and have been since finding out we are having a boy! Now that the holidays are here, I'm expecting it to fly by! As Dani reminded me last night, D-day is right around the corner because:

1. Thanksgiving
2. Christmas and Festive Parties
3. New Year's Day
4. National Championship Game (hopefully)
5. Baby Showers!
6. Possible Weekend at Bed-N-Breakfast
7. My 25th Birthday!
8. Winter Olympics!!
9. Girls Basketball State Tournament
10. Boys Basketball State Tournament- full term at 37 weeks
11. Spring Break (this doesn't really apply to me)
12. Hudson's Arrival
13. Easter (can be interchanged with Hudson's arrival, depending on if he's early or late)

WOW! I'm so excited about what the next few months are going to bring!

I'm really starting to feel him move even more now, and it happens pretty much all day now. I have had some forceful movements where I've had to chuckle or laugh b/c it is so defined! I know that will only get more defined! Travis still hasn't had the chance to feel him move yet. It seems like Hudson is not one for giving a performance, and every time his daddy tries to feel him move, he stops. I'm hoping Travis can feel it soon though!

We go to the doctor for our 22 week appointment tomorrow. I can't believe it's already been a month since we found out it is a boy! We are excited to hear Hudson's heartbeat and hopefully a good report. Hopefully, Travis will get off early tomorrow so we can go to Silsbee/Lumberton with daylight to spare. I'm off tomorrow, but Travis has to work. I'll be busy doing a little laundry, packing and getting the dogs loaded before I pick Travis up from work and head to SETX. We are having Thanksgiving with my mom's family in Huntington and then heading over to visit my dad's family in Lufkin. I'm so excited! I haven't seen some family members in over a year and I always love the good cookin' at my mom's family's Thanksgiving!! :) There will probably be over 50 people there and they all bring delicious dishes, so it's pretty much impossible to NOT get seconds! I'm also drooling over the desserts too! :)

On Saturday, we went to the last home football game of the year. UT played Kansas and the Longhorns looked very good! I was so proud of Colt and the rest of the seniors for the class and skill that they execute every game. It's been a joy to watch them the past 4 years and I'll be sad next season when they are gone. But, we still have some unfinished business: taking care of the aggies this Thursday night, winning another Big 12 Championship and then on to the National Championship! :) Here are some pictures from Saturday's game:

Hudson at 21 Weeks:

Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like he's practicing martial arts as his initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to his activity as you get to know him better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now.

When are you going to be in Lufkin? I'll be there Wednesday through Sunday! I'd love to see you if you have some time! :D Do you have my phone number?

Maybe you should change the "her" to "he" in the part about how the baby is growing. Just a thought. :)
