During our visit to Southeast Texas, we also got to squeeze in a few other fun things. I got to see Invictus with my dad and Travis got to see Avatar with his dad and sister.
We also got to have a short visit with Brittany, Sam and Baby Lucy! :) She is the best baby! Brittany gave me lots of tips and even some maternity clothes and baby items! Thanks Brittany! We were so glad to finally meet little Lucy!
Finally, we got a late Christmas present (which I guess we bought for ourselves). We have been sharing one car now for over 6 months, which has not been easy! With the blessing of Travis' new job, we were able to afford a new truck. Travis is so happy and we have already put it to good use! :) It was very handy to have to tote all of our Christmas goodies home! We got a 2010 Toyota Tacoma.
We had another appt. today with the OB, but we were unable to see Hudson because our doctor had to perform an emergency surgery. Though I was disappointed that we didn't get to see our little boy today, I'm looking forward to our next appt. in two weeks for that ultrasound. At that appt, I also have to take the glucose test and blood work :( Hudson's heartbeat and growth were right on track, for which we are very thankful!
Now, we are looking forward to a special visit from Kaitlin, Lauren and Colin for a few days. I'm excited about going to the Outlet Mall and hanging out with them for New Year's festivities!
