32 Weeks and Birthday Week!

Travi and me at the Youth Superbowl Party- 2/7/10

Well, the best week of the year us upon us, friends. It's my birthday week. Don't think for a minute that I accidentally brainwashed you all into remembering my birthday. I did my duty, you'll never forget 2-11 as long as you live. :) You can thank me later.

So, this is the official birthday week and I'm excited to see what my 25th year has in store... It all starts with a busy week filled with celebrations and happy occasions. Here's a sneak peek:

Monday- low key night with the hubster, eating leftover pizza from the youth party
Tuesday- eating dinner with Kristin, Cole and Connor and bombarding Kristin with baby questions. I apologize in advance, Kristin, but I am so thankful for your willingness to lend a helpful hand?ear?advice?
Wednesday- Birthday Eve. Youth karaoke fundraiser, with some birthday presents mixed in there somewhere with friends. :)
Thursday- BIRTHDAY! :) Celebrating 2-11 in style- starting with a doctor appointment including a peek at Hudson :), breakfast with Travi, lunch at Hut's with co-workers, baby shower at work for Hudson and dinner with Spencer and Travis. :) GOOD DAY INDEED!
Friday- Work early, leave early, head for Lufkin/Huntington stay with my grandmother.
Saturday- Happy Birthday Jenni! Last baby shower (family shower) in Huntington and head home afterwards.
Sunday- Valentine's Day, celebrating 7 years since Travis and I officially became "more than friends" :)

I am blessed.

On the Baby Front-
I'm getting to that uncomfortable stage, a little earlier than I'd like. My back is hurting quite a bit now, but Hudson has continued to remain quite active. :) I've been suffering from headaches and nausea again (welcome back first trimester). Praying that it gets better for this week's fun. On the countdown now, though. Almost 50 days till the due date, praying that he'll come a little early. I'm going with Dani's prediction of March 31. March 30 is a full moon, which always increases the number of women that go into labor. I like the sound of a March 30 or March 31 birthday for little Hudson. Just please no April 1, that's my only request. Of course, I cannot really control this, but knowing our luck, we will probably have an April Fool's Day baby, haha. We're excited for our ultrasound this Thursday and once again, praying for a good report on Hudson's end and my end of the pregnancy deal.

Here's what Hudson's doing at 32 Weeks:
By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.

Happy plumping, Hudson! :)

Oh two eleven. How I'll never forget thee. Happy birthday week dear friend! You are so close to the finish line - I hope the nausea and yucky feelings go away. I am ready for Hudson to get here so I can exchange mom stories with someone! ha!

Ok I changed my guess for when you are having Hudson. I was researching the full moon thing and it is true because the moon pulls on the amniotic sac causing it to burst(sometimes). But the full moon is on the 29th instead of the 30th so I'm thinking your going to deliver on the 30th...also Tuesday is the most common day that women give birth. Just thought I would let you know about my little research.

You guys are so funny ;) Ellie's due date was on the full moon. So she missed it by 5 days.
4.6.10 would be cool because 4+6=10 ;p but I feel for ya, anyone in their right mind would rather go early :)
