35 weeks!

On Saturday, I was 35 weeks pregnant and I had only 35 days till my due date. I thought that was pretty cool! Now, it's March 1st and this could be Hudson's birth month. I'm thinking that it will be. Nothing biologically tells me that, but I just have a feeling. I hope I'm not wrong, but it could happen. Anyways, it's been crazy busy in our lives as I am in the middle of a three-week-work marathon! As of last Monday (Feb. 22), I will work every single day until March 14!! I survived my first weekend event, State Swimming & Diving, and I've even stayed caught up on laundry and cooking for now! I felt bad for abandoning Travis and the puppies so much lately, I even made a good dinner last night: baked chicken, green bean bundles, rolls and homemade peach cobbler! :) Yummy! Best part- no cooking tonight b/c we still have leftovers! :)

My parents will be arriving in Austin on Wednesday evening. They come to the state tournament every year. In fact, I can remember my grandmother coming to stay with my brother and me when we were kids while they went to the tournament. It's been especially enjoyable since I've been working at the UIL, because they usually get better seats and I get to spend more time with them at the tournament while I am actually working. :)

Well, I gotta get back to work. There are a million things still left to do on my "to-do" list for this weekend's event. Hope y'all have a great week. Until next week, here's an update on Hudson's growth :)

Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.
