My parents will be arriving in Austin on Wednesday evening. They come to the state tournament every year. In fact, I can remember my grandmother coming to stay with my brother and me when we were kids while they went to the tournament. It's been especially enjoyable since I've been working at the UIL, because they usually get better seats and I get to spend more time with them at the tournament while I am actually working. :)
Well, I gotta get back to work. There are a million things still left to do on my "to-do" list for this weekend's event. Hope y'all have a great week. Until next week, here's an update on Hudson's growth :)
Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.
