So I was reflecting on my earlier pregnancy posts and came across this post from September. I decided to check and see how these events went.....
- Longhorn football games, Hook Em!- That ended well. Fell just short of a National Championship, but it was a great season for my Horns
- Visits from family and friends- Enjoyed those visits from parents and friends! :)
- Arrival of Lucy Swanson in October- She arrived October 10, I think. :) She's now 5 months old!
- Arrival of Kinlee Cheneaux (Kristin Crosby's baby) in January- She arrived on January 8, I think?? She's too cute!
- Arrival of Baby Guedry (Sarah Staggs's baby) in January- She arrived January 5, a little late, but adorable also!
- Mamacents Consignment Sale on September 25, and attending with Kristin- Sale went well, got some great stuff for Hudson at a very reasonable price! I might be able to make the next sale on March 25 if Hudson doesn't arrive sooner!
- Bannockburn Youth Fall Retreat at Highland Lakes, October 24-25- Retreat was awesome and Travis is now the Associate Youth Director. God has been so faithful to us!
- Cheering on my dad as he runs in his first marathon in San Antonio, November 15- My dad finished! :) So proud of him!
- Finding out if the little gummy bear is a girl or a boy sometime around Halloween!- We all know it's a BOY! Hudson Lane Hogg will hopefully be here SOON!
- Decorating the nursery- I'm kinda partial, but I think it's totally cute and definitely my favorite room in the house!
- Giving this little babe a name!- Check! Hudson Lane Hogg it is....
- Thanksgiving with the Killams/Walters family- Wonderful family time in Huntington/Lufkin, especially seeing my Aunt Beth, who suddenly passed away two months later.
- Braving the crowds while shopping with my mom the day after Thanksgiving! :)- Got some great deals and we were up and shopping at 3:30am!!
- Decorating the house for Christmas! :) - Loved that, but was again glad to put it away for another year and return to "normal" around the house.
- Singing Christmas Tree at church- Enjoyed the different format this year. Cast and choir did wonderfully, as expected!
- Feeling the little babe move- He's a dancer, kicker and all-around mover! Definitely my favorite part of pregnancy.
- Christmas with all family!- Wonderful time with both families. We are so blessed. Hudson even got tons of gifts! :)
- Ringing in 2010, what a big year for our little family!- 2010 has been great so far, can't believe it's already almost April!!
- Having a few weeks vacation during the holidays- wish I could go back to those days off.
- Celebrating a UT football National Championship in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl! :)- We didn't make it to Pasadena, but we did have a great party for the game. The game was sad, but I'm still proud of my Horns.
- Beginning my third trimester on January 7, 2010- Seems like the third trimester has lasted FOREVER!! :)
- Celebrating my 25th Birthday on February 11, 2010- Lovely day, complete with a surprise visit from my mom, baby shower at work and an ultrasound to see my little boy! :)
- Celebrating 7 years since Travis and I became "more than friends" on V-Day :) haha- I love him more and more every day!
- Girls and Boys State Basketball Tournaments in March, hopefully I'll still be able to work!- I made it through, barely! :) It was definitely exhausting, but the overtime pay will be well worth it when I'm on maternity leave.
- Basketball Season in general!- Check!
- March Madness- watching the first few games right now. I think Hudson would really like to experience this madness, so he should definitely join us to watch these games :)
- Baby showers- WE WERE SO BLESSED!!!
- Welcoming this little blessing into the world in March/April 2010!!!! :)- To be continued.....
