Today Hudson is one month old! I can't believe it has already been one month. Sometimes it seems like it's been longer, but mostly it seems like he was just born yesterday. Travis and I were talking about his birth again the other day and it brought back such sweet memories from a month ago. In just one month, I have learned so much about being a mommy, taking care of an infant and how to survive on less sleep! Before Hudson was born, I really didn't know much about babies, let alone newborns!! I definitely would not have been able to handle this without the help of my awesome husband, helpful mom and mother-in-law and the support of friends and other family. Also, we are still receiving meals from our growth group and other friends!! It has been awesome to not worry about cooking!! Thank you to everyone for your help, meals and prayers.
I have two more weeks left with Hudson before I have to go back to work. Today we went and visited a local daycare because we might have to put Hudson in daycare in August, and it was sad seeing where my baby might go without me during the day. Until August, I am comforted that Hudson will be cared for by my mom, mother-in-law and Dani all summer at our house!
