Hudson is four weeks old today! On Saturday, he will be one month old, so you should expect a special one month post. It seems like he has changed so much in this fourth week! Every day I look at him and think about how much he has changed since the previous day!! He looks more and more like Travis every day!
This week, Hudson has:
- gone on his first road trip to Southeast TX.
- proved once again that he is a great traveler by sleeping the whole way to Silsbee, which is over four hours!
- spent his first night away from home (other than the hospital) at Grinna and Pop's house. He also had to spend this night away from his daddy :(
- continues to roll over more and more
- met all of his great-grandparents and most of his aunts and cousins
- visited his Gran-D, Papaw and Aunt KK in Lumberton
- went to church and slept through the whole service
- slept in his crib for the first time and did very well!
- started drinking 4 ounce bottles at bedtime
- met many new friends including Richard, Carissa, Susan, and Jessica
- went to his second softball game, which daddy's team won!
- stays awake longer during the daytime
- is more alert and will follow our voices and movements
- played a little bit with a toy rattle
- loves to sleep on mommy and in mommy's sling
- his eyes are getting bluer and his hair is getting redder!
I am excited about my first Mother's Day on Sunday and also excited about my parents coming to visit for the weekend. They can't get enough of this little guy!! Tomorrow I am going out to visit schools with teaching openings to personally give them my resume. Please pray that my visits go well and I leave a positive impression on the principals and get a job for the fall!!
