We headed to Lumberton/ Silsbee last weekend to go to my cousin Jessica's bridal shower. I wasn't sure if we would be able to make it, but Hudson is such a good baby and he has done so well on our other outings that I decided to take the plunge and take our first road trip to the homeland together. Travis wasn't able to miss work, so it was just the two of us. I was a little nervous about traveling with a newborn that far alone, but Hudson was great!! He slept the WHOLE way there (4.5 hours) and he only woke up once to eat and be changed on the way back to Austin.
While in Southeast Texas, he met many people for the first time. He was in awe of all of the new people and surroundings.....

He met Spencer and Teresa, my second parents. They loved him. :)

He met his cousin, Lauren. She was so excited to finally meet this little guy!!

He met the rest of his great grandparents too. Here he is with my dad's dad, who we call Granddaddy.

He napped and ate with Grandmommy, my dad's mom.

We took a picture of four generations. My granddaddy, my dad, me and Hudson.

This is Patrick and Jessica, the almost newlyweds.. :)

Hudson also got to meet my mom's mom, Mamaw. He also got to meet Travis' dad's dad, Grandpa, but I didn't get a picture of them. I also didn't get a picture of him with my aunts and cousins, but they all enjoyed loving on him and I know he is and will continue to be one loved and spoiled little boy!
During the shower, he got to spend time with Travis' parents, Aunt KK and Grandpa. He loved that and they loved it too. He also really enjoyed his first weekend at Grinna and Pop's house, where they also spoiled him. I can't wait for the future weekends and nights he will get to spend with his grandparents in Southeast Texas. He will have so many great memories with all of them!!
