This is a special 211th post! :)

On Travis' first Father's Day, Hudson got him a card and made him a photo book telling him all of the reasons why he loves him! Travis is such a good daddy and I am so blessed to parent with this man of God that loves our son unconditionally. He never complains when I ask him to help me with Hudson and he loves to entertain him and make him laugh! Hudson and I really miss him when he is away and Hudson is always so happy when Travis gets home from work. He loves to sleep beside his daddy, play with his daddy and lay on his daddy's shoulder. I can't wait for all of the memories they will share together as Hudson gets older. Travis is such a blessing to us and there's no way that any words could describe how grateful we are to have him as the daddy in our house. We love you, Travi/Daddy! I hope you had a great Father's Day!! btw... Travis also received an early father's day gift a few months ago when he got his golf clubs, golf balls and a new golf hitting tent thingy... :)

Bob Killam, aka George Robert Killam, aka Pop, aka Coach Killam, aka Little Bobby, aka Dad:
I don't even know where to begin with my daddio. He is an awesome dad, spiritual leader, friend, coach and role model. He's been there for me since 2/11/85 at 6:56 pm and I know he will always be there for me. He has been a shoulder to cry on when I'm down, someone to laugh with, learn from, talk to, joke with, a great running buddy, basketball coach, history teacher, grandfather and so many other things that I can't even put them into words. My dad is definitely one of the main influences on my life and I will never forget all of the stories he has shared, prayers he has prayed and hugs he's given. He has listened to me read my Babysitter's Club books at bedtime and watched me at cheer competitions and dance recitals. Along with my mom, he's my biggest fan. I love you dad, and I am who I am today because of you. :)

Gary Hogg aka Papaw, aka Dad, aka "Mr. Ritter" aka Porkchop's Papaw:
Travis' dad is such a great father-in-law, dad and grandfather! He is cool as a cucumber in a crisis, encouraging when you're down and is one of the most giving people I know. I am so thankful for his positive influence on Travis and the relationship that they have. I know it has impacted the man that Travis has become and the father that Travis is to Hudson. Thank you so much!!

Wilton Killam, aka Grandaddy, aka Dean Killam, aka Mr. Killam:
My dad's dad is another huge influence on my life. He always tells me that I am his, "favorite granddaughter" and I love it when he says that. Of course, I am his only granddaughter, so I always joke that I am his least favorite granddaughter too. I am confident that he would jump over the moon for me if I requested! I will always cherish the times we shared talking genealogy, sports, school stuff, UT and the times we shared in their hottub when I stayed with them many weekends. As a retired educator and Dean of Students at Angelina College, my granddaddy is never short on stories and he will always remember where he left off in a story if he gets interrupted! He's a stubborn man, but he will do anything for his family! Though his health has seen better days, I am thankful that he was able to share in my graduations from high school and college, my wedding and the birth of his first great grandchild. I love you, granddaddy!

Prentiss Walters, aka Papaw, aka Mr. Walters, aka James Prentiss, aka JP:
My mom's dad, my papaw, passed away a few years ago while I was in college. He was almost 90 years old when he died and he until he left us, he always looked way younger than his actual age! He acted younger too, as he would play with us on the floor as kids, making animal and bird noises, caring about the details in our lives and always down for a good laugh. He would always claim that he cooked a great meal after we ate one of my mamaw's good dinners and he would always compliment his hairstyles after he got up from a nap on the recliner.... He always joked that he would put my mamaw in the "doghouse", though I know he would never like to be without her! When I would say, "hey Papaw," he would respond, "hay is for horses". I'll never forget his stories, our trips to Colorado and our ventures in his massive garden. He is definitely missed and I know he'd love to meet Hudson. He'd get a kick out of him! :) Love and miss you, Papaw!

Ernest Hogg, aka Grandpa, aka Mr. Ernest, aka Mr. Hogg:
A lifelong resident of Sour Lake, Texas, Travis' paternal grandfather is a quiet man full of wisdom and some interesting stories. He's somewhere between 92 and 94 years old and still loves to drink Coca-Cola and he loves a good box of Little Debbie snack cakes! He's a great man, very caring and always loves to visit with his family. I'm so glad that Hudson has met him and we enjoy getting to see him when we visit Travis' parents! Happy Father's Day, Grandpa!

Arthur Moore, aka Pop-Pop, aka "Author", aka Mr. Moore:
Pop-Pop reminds me a lot of my granddaddy. He's not a shy person and he has never met a stranger! He has loads of great stories to tell and he always wants to know how you're doing and if you need anything. He loves his kids, grandkids and now his great-grandkid more than life itself and he is always very supportive of anything that involves his family. He is a great Man of God that is not ashamed of his faith and he is very helpful to friends, neighbors and family members. He has driven to Austin to help Travis and me move several times and he would literally break his back to offer his assistance. Thank you, Pop-Pop for the positive example you set and for the joy you bring to so many people. We love you!!
