Trip to Houston

We finally got to go to Houston to visit Jason and Cydney at their new house. We had such a great time! Thanks Henry family for letting us bunk with y'all and loving on Hudson! I found out I got the job at Dahlstrom earlier, so I was super excited about the trip- ready to celebrate! We met Jason for lunch that Friday at a local Italian place that was good and then headed to their house to meet up with Cydney and head to watch the Astros. It was Hudson's first Astros game and he enjoyed it. He was a little scared of the loud music and the people yelling around us, but he was very intrigued by all that was going on. We had tickets where we could visit the all-you-can-eat concessions and we loaded up on popcorn, soda, hotdogs, pretzels and nachos!! I can't remember exactly, but I think Travis had 4 hotdogs, 2 orders of nachos and a lot of Coke! I think he still lost weight, haha.

After the Astros won, we stayed around for the Friday night fireworks show. Hudson was not a fan of the noise (he is just like his mama), but he loved watching the lights! Thanks for hosting us, Jason and Cydney! We can't wait to visit again.
