Hudson is almost half a year old! Sometimes I can't believe he is already that old, but then again I can't imagine our lives without this little blessing of a boy. Here's what Hudson is up to at 5 months:
- Still putting everything in his mouth!
- Picking up his pacifier and putting it in his mouth by himself.
- Taking stuff out of your hand.
- REALLY interested in adult foods that he can't eat yet.
- Eating baby food like squash, green beans, oatmeal and baby rice/cereal.
- Eating 4-8 ounce bottles a day, cereal/oatmeal in the morning and baby food in evening.
- Giggling.
- Watching the puppies intently.
- People-watching
- Taking two naps a day, sometimes a third short nap in the evening.
- Wanting to sit up on his own so badly!
- Not a huge fan of his infant carrier anymore.
- Loves going for walks.
- Riding on our hips when we hold him, instead of in our arms all the time.
- LOVES his swing, he laughs the whole time.
- Rolling over, mostly only from back to tummy.
- Follows his daddy with his eyes when Travis comes into a room.
- Skyping with Gran-D, PawPaw and Aunt KK
- Grocery shopping with Grinna
- Laughing at Pop
- Taking naps with Mommy and Daddy
- Banging on his bumbo tray like he's playing a drum :)
Happy 5 months, Hudson! I can't wait for the next 50+ years with you in our family!
