Our wedding anniversary is today! 07/07/07 = four fabulous years together! I did a little research to see my blog postings about our previous three anniversaries. I remembered that our first anniversary was actually spent apart because Travis was on a mission trip in Wales. Here is a post about his birthday that year, which was only a few days prior.
Our second anniversary was spent having a great time on a cruise!
Our third anniversary was spent at home with our beautiful three-month-old and living it up as a family.
Now for FOUR years:
To celebrate our anniversary this years, Travi and I took advantage of my brother's Friends and Family Discount and stayed at the JW Marriott Resort in San Antonio for a night.
Above is a from-the-car-while-it's-moving shot of the front of the resort. This picture does not do it justice and we never got a picture of the golf course, water slides and lazy river in the back. We spent most of our time in the lazy river just being, you guessed it: LAZY!
Below, Travis is taking part in the nightly s'mores that are offered at the resort! Yummy!
With the S'mores as an appetizer, we headed out for our a celebratory meal. We chose Clear Springs because we wanted seafood and I had been to the one in Nacogdoches several times as a kid and I know it's yummy! This location did not let us down! Below, Travis is spotting something in the air, while aboard the antique mini plane.
Then we headed back to the resort so I could play and win a little game of checkers with Travis on this nifty Microsoft Surface. I want one of these in my living room!
We had a WONDERFUL time! I highly recommend this resort!!
