Spring Break Spring Cleaning Part 2

After we completed our main project, I had some smaller projects to complete.

Project #2: Move Hudson to guest room and clean out nursery for Brazos.

This project happened in stages.  My parents bought Hudson the bed with a trundle last year for his birthday.  Travis' parents bought him a TV with DVD player for his birthday since this also doubles as his play room.  We had moved most of his toys and books, but we finished out this week by purchasing a rail for his bed and moving all of his clothing to his new room closet (recently vacated in our closet reno).  He now sleeps in his new big boy bed and LOVES to play in his room.  He loves it so much that he sometimes acts like he's napping, only to be discovered playing with puzzles or books :)

Project #3: Organizing the Pantry

This project was not terribly exciting, but needed to be done.  My pantry had become the junk/catch-all place and I knew there were probably some expired foods in there (yuck?!?).  So, I spent one morning organizing and purging three bags of stuff (makes you sick to know you wasted that much food).  I forgot to post a picture of what it looked like before, but just know there was no organization or method....

Project #4: Clean out and organize all remaining closets and garage.

Check.  More donations to Goodwill, but I'll spare those exciting pictures! :)

Project #5: Have fun with Hudson and relax!

We had such a great week! Even though I had some projects going on, he helped me or we still found ways to fit in a backyard fun time, puzzles, books, four-wheeler-ridin', walks around the neighborhood, finger painting with pudding, Sonic drink breaks, sno-cones and just plain ol' fun!  We planned to spend Saturday at Zilker Park riding the train, but Hudson did not cooperate with our planned early nap schedule, so we did not have time to do that, but we have that on the schedule in a few weeks!

This is Hudson taking a self-portrait of himself (and me) on my phone. He likes to do this and says "cheese" at the same time.
