Family Trip to Dallas



Hogg and Partlow families. We go way back to the old days in Lumberton/Kountze. :)



While I was out on maternity leave, we decided to take a trip to Dallas to visit some friends there.  We had been meaning to visit Justin and Jessica and their new baby, Laurel, as well as catch up with the Swansons.

We stayed with the Partlows for a few nights and I was a little stressed at first with a six-week-old that did not sleep well the first night, nor did his brother sleep well.  Needless to say, it did not start off as much of a vacation.  But, the second and third nights were much better and we had a great time with the kids and catching up with two great families.  We missed seeing the Gaultneys who were out of town, but will have to catch them on our next trip.

While we were there, we went to the Dallas Children's Museum, the Fort Worth Zoo, the Village Church and lots of fun eating places.  We also visited the park near Justin and Jessica's house, where we snapped a few photos of the three kids. I did not get a picture of the Hogg/Swanson families. :(  It was a great trip and a great getaway!
