Easter Goodness

I love so many things about Easter:

7. Visits from the Easter Bunny

8. Easter Candy is the BEST Candy!

9. Sunrise Baptism Service

10. MOST IMPORTANT- Reflecting on the ultimate sacrifice paid for YOU and me by our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Wow! What a gift! Thank you, Jesus for LIFE everlasting!  

This was an interesting Easter Weekend.  It was nice to have Friday off as a family. We enjoyed being at home together and finishing a few small projects around the house.  A few kids from our youth group came over to play games with Travis, and Hudson loved that too!  Saturday, we rose early to attend the Bannockburn Easter Eggstravaganza.  Brazos got his one egg :), and Hudson was a great egg hunter this year!  It was fun to see how excited he was about hunting eggs this year.  That morning, Hudson was not feeling 100%, but we were hoping this sickness would stay away.  He wasn't his normal self all day, but he wanted to eat and he said he felt okay. After eating the macaroni and cheese he begged for, he told me his tummy hurt, and we all got to see that mac-n-cheese one more time!

Well, that sure put a damper on my matching easter outfits, egg hunts at home, brunch at a restaurant and perfect Easter dreams.  Hudson and I stayed in our jammies all day while Daddy and Brazos went to church.  I took a picture of Brazos and Travis since it was his first Easter. He's such a sweet little baby boy!

We all had fun Easter naps and then my parents, grandmother and brother came over for dinner that night.  Hudson was feeling better and he seems to be fine now.  These Hogg boys will just have to be the cutest kids at BBC this Sunday!
