Packing my life away... sorta!

Well, Travis and I have been very busy packing and getting ready to move this Friday into our temporary residence at the Cox's house. They have graciously allowed us to stay in their little garage apartment until we are ready to close on our house. We thought we would only be living there until the end of the month, but now it looks like we will be living there until the middle of October. Bummer, I know, but I will just be glad to get into the house! On the good side, we will be saving money not paying rent or our monstrous electricity bills in our non-energy efficient apartment! Also, if we move in to the house in October, we will not have to pay our first mortgage note until December!! That will be very nice! Here is a picture of our lovely home, which now has grass and nicely landscaped bushes, flowers and two trees. :)

Now, onto important matters of business... Travis desperately needs a job!! He has to have a job for a month before they will allow us to close on the house. Altough he has applied at several different places, he's had two interviews and the first place hired someone else, and the second place looks probable, but they will not let him know until tomorrow. I am a little nervous about it, but I know God has it under control. We have learned to be patient on this whole job/house matter because if it were up to our timetables, we would have moved in to the house on Labor Day Weekend! Please keep the job situation in your prayers and I will certainly give an update when we find out. Also, if you know of any job possibilities for Trav, let me know!! :)

We can't wait to (hopefully) move in to our house and have y'all over for some food and fellowshippin'. I need to go review my small group study for tonight, it's my first time to lead the group! :)
