Well, we heard yesterday evening that Travis did not get the position. They gave it to someone else who had five years of experience. It's tough and frustrating getting your first job because you have no experience in the full-time workforce to leverage yourself on your resume. Also, we heard that another position that Travis was considering was offered to another lady, so we are back at square one with the job search and now we have an even shorter amount of time. Please, please, please pray for this situation and let us know if you have any suggestions on a job opening that would be enough for us to pay our bills (combined with my measly salary). The FHA (Federal Housing Authority) is requiring more income for first-time homebuyers now than they were just one month ago, so it is getting tougher to get our loan everyday!! We still feel that God has provided this house for us to live in, and from the start, He made it clear that this was the place for us. We are trusting God, however, that He knows what is best for us and He has a plan (Jeremiah 29:11).

I'm praying! Love you both, and you're exactly right: God has a plan for all of this, and He is holding you in the palm of His hand. I admire your trust in and dependence on Him during this tough period of waiting!
