Psalm 127:1

This weekend I was so discouraged with the lack of job for Travis and the short timetable we are in, that I almost lost hope for the house. As we were walking the dogs one evening, I looked at Travis and I said, "I think I've given up on the house". He looked back at me, as I was about to cry, and assured me that we would not give up on the house until we had exhausted all options and the deadline had passed. He encouraged me to keep praying and if it was meant to be, God would provide a way for us to be homeowners. Well, we think that we may have an option, but without saying too much, I will just ask you to pray that this option will work out and we will have a "match".

Now to the cool part of this post... Rewind to three Christmases ago, while I was in college, I asked my mom to give me something that I could use to help me learn scripture. She and my dad spent some time printing out verses in the bible and putting them on little note cards. Some of them are even handwritten by my parents. They put all of these cards in a plastic bin-thing and painted "Meag's Memory Verses" on the side of the bin. Well, I decided last spring to bring the bin to work and I will draw a card from the bin and tape it to my computer screen at work to help me memorize the scripture. Well, I went to draw a new card today, and I reached in blindly and pulled out a card that read Psalm 127:1a
"Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain."

Wow, thanks for that message, God. Since we started the building process, we have been praying over the house and praying for the construction workers that would be working on it. We do not want to labor in vain, O God, so we continue to pray that YOU would continue to construct this home. DR Horton cannot construct the home, we cannot construct the home, our Superintendent (Jeremiah) cannot construct the home, but YOU CAN!!!

Here are some photos from our house dedication time we had about two months ago... Such a sweet time!

I'll keep you readers posted on the progress from here :)
