1. I wish I would have at least applied to Harvard for my undergraduate education and University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill for my graduate school.
2. Both my dad and my granddaddy have blue eyes the same color as mine.
3. If I would've been a boy, my name was to be Landon Todd Killam. Weird-sounding, but I think my mom has good taste in names! :)
4. I hope to have at least two kids, but no more than three, unless God has other plans! :)
5. I was born in Lufkin, and I have lived in six other Texas towns since then: Nacogdoches, Douglass, Eldorado, Lumberton, San Marcos and Austin.
6. I have not always attended a Baptist church. When I was younger, we attended a Congregational Methodist church that I think is more Baptist than Methodist.
7. I remember what I wore to school on the first day of every school year and in every school picture.
8. I used to LOVE school picture days and one of my other favorite days in school was the day we got pictures back and bought our yearbooks and I also loved bookfairs. :)
9. I used to read A LOT as a child. I loved reading the Babysitter's Club books, and I was even a member of the Babysitter's Club, where I received monthly newsletters and other cool stuff like buttons that said "I love BSC"
10. My favorite family vacation was a trip to Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park when I was about 11. My grandparents went with us and we rented a cabin on the river in Estes Park. It was so relaxing and beautiful. I want to take Travis back to that place.
11. My dad has coached SEVERAL sports my whole life, and my favorite t-shirt used to be a shirt that said, "My dad's the coach, but I'm the boss!" It was the truth! :)
12. I had always wanted to be a cheerleader. Since I was a tot, my mom would make me cheerleading outfits that I would wear to my dad's games and I would be the little mascot with the cheerleaders. I still love cheerleading and wish I could still stunt and cheer today.
13. I only made one "B" throughout my whole pre-college education. I will never forgive Mrs. Kerr for that 89 in 8th grade science. j/k.
14. I graduated third in my class. I was really good friends with the top two people ahead of me and I think they really deserved it too, but I wish they had a name for the third person...
15. My toughest class in college was Geology (remember those good times, Katie!)
16. I went to college as a journalism major, aspiring to be the next sports reporter on ESPN, but I realized during my sophomore year that I didn't really like to write. :) haha
17. I practically lived at the church growing up. I was there every Sunday morning, afternoon, night and on Wednesday nights. I was also there other various times during the week as well, I was very involved in our youth group.
18. On that note, I was a member of our youth's praise band as a vocalist and I used to sing church specials on Sunday mornings, but I'm not quite sure what happened to that... I definitely don't think I have the talent anymore.
19. My first slumber party was on my 7th birthday at my house in Douglass. My mom told me that I could invite all of the girls in my grade (it was a really small school!) and I think we ended up having a total of 20 girls at my house!! Since that year, I had a slumber party every year for my birthday until I turned 16.
20. I've only had three real boyfriends, two of whom were named "Chris". Can you guess what the third was named?? :)
21. I have been in an elevator with Shaquille O'Neal, true story!
22. When I was younger, I would read to my dad before I would go to bed, and after we finished reading, I would give him a "quiz" about what I had just read. If he answered incorrectly, then I would give him a "penalty". I was such a creative child, haha.
23. I knew all of my states and capitals and how to spell each by Kindergarten, thanks Dad!
24. I love to talk about sports, but I always feel like people think I am just that blonde bimbo trying to act sporty to impress guys when I first meet people.
25. I had braces in 10th and 11th grades, and I am so glad that I endured those two years of misery. Even though I wasn't the looker then, I like my smile better now! :)
