I have some wonderful news to share on this dreary Monday:
Travis got a job!! Praise the Lord!! He will be starting tomorrow, granted he gets approval from George to leave, at Alphagraphics. A couple who visited our Sunday school class yesterday learned that Travis had been looking for a job for a while, after we shared prayer requests. The guy stayed to talk to me a little about Travis (Travis was doing the media stuff in church) and he said for Travis to give him a call this morning.
Travis just called and said that they talked for a little while and he offered Travis a job starting tomorrow in their Lakeway office. Nathan, the guy, said that he could only offer Travis an entry-level position right now, but this will give Travis a chance to shadow the graphic designer at that location and learn the company. Then, in 6 weeks, he will go with Nathan to the new San Marcos store as the new graphic designer at that location, with salary and benefits, etc. Travis is so excited and relieved and he can't wait to start. Travis' hours will be from 9-5 Mon-Fri, with an hour lunch break. He will start out at 10.50/hr, but will switch to salary when the San Marcos store opens in March. Hallelujah for God's perfect blessings and this opportunity in the midst of an economic crisis.

Great news Meagan! Congrats to Travis. Isn't it perfect that God led them to our sunday school class?!
Praise God!!!! You already know I'm excited, but I'm still just jumping up and down (in my heart). :-) :-) :-) Keep us updated on how it goes! I'll be thinking about him tomorrow.
