Happy Birthday, Snuggles!

Sorry to be so late on this post, but last Thursday, March 5, was Snuggles' first birthday! She got a birthday card in the mail from Petsmart with a free toy, so we went to pick that out yesterday. I can't believe she's already a year old, it seems like yesterday that I brought her home to our little apartment. Though she is very stubborn at times, she is such a sweet dog and I never dreamed that a little puppy would change my life so much. I think this has been GREAT practice for a family of our own little tykes. In honor of Snuggles, I will tell you a few things that she loves to do:

- play with her "little" brother, Timber (he weighs 55 pounds now, but she still rules the roost!)
- play fetch with daddy in the back yard
- sleep with momma and daddy at night (she snuggles in between us most of the time)
- roll over upon meeting someone, so they can scratch her belly
- go running with momma (she's just my speed)
- give you a "bath" if she thinks you're dirty
- give you kisses or sugar (sometimes on the lips, haha)
- do a trick for her beggin' strip
- bury her bone in the couch
- hide under the couch and tease Timber
- watch the cars drive by while in the car
- put her face next to the air vents in the car
- take naps on the recliner or the rug by the fireplace
- stand on her back legs and beg for a long amount of time
- look really cute in her longhorn apparel
- occasionally go to the bathroom inside the house then look really sad and pitiful, before going to get in her cage, because she knows she's in trouble.
- greeting anyone who comes to her house or that she sees in the neighborhood (she's very social)
- dig big holes in the back yard that daddy has to cover up over and over again
- chew on plastic water bottles until they are in pieces
