- I had a great 3-hour nap Sunday afternoon (this is not unusual though)
- I ate a bajillion cookies at Dani's house while decorating wedding cookies, so the sugar may be to blame
- I have two big tests on Wednesday for my teaching certification in Math and PE
BUT.... Here are some reasons why I should have slept like a baby:
- I got up a little earlier yesterday morning
- The 3-hour nap was not my record for a Sunday afternoon nap (it's pitiful, huh?)
- I did not consume any caffeine past 7:00 pm
- I ran two miles at 8:30, so I should have expended all of my energy
So, I cannot sleep. Because I don't want to waste any time, I go into productive mode and do this:
- Laundry
- Study for my two tests on Wednesday
- Read
- Count sheep
- Clean a little
I finally took a Tylenol PM at 3:30 and was finally out by 4:30, only to hear my alarm go off two hours later.... If you know me, you know that I value my sleep and I must get my 8 hours each night to function properly. So, I felt like a zombie as I tried to get ready for work. Needless to say, I went in to work late, after I took a "nap". I'm feeling okay now, but I'm hoping this does not continue tonight. I will for sure be downing the Tylenol PM at 10:00!!

Oh that is the worst! I am like you and enjoy my good night of sleep. I'm glad you got a nap before work though. Hope you made it through the day and I'll see you tonight! :)
